I am a figurative painter who has recently focused on portraiture. The challenge for me in this practice is getting a likeness, capturing the features and the spirit of the person. The triple portrait from three or more views is pushing my skills, understanding of act of painting, and the possibility of success or failure at each stage of the painting.
