A stripped old brown broken neglected chair bound with entangled strings. The main colors are red and white. The bottom part is hanging from the more “stable” part that is hanging and attached to the wall. The bottom part looks like as if its falling but is still hanging. The piece is presented on a wall as a painting. The theoretical argument of what is to be considered a painting brought me to re-examine some of my works. Still the subject matter of my artistic inquiry stayed the same. I examine metaphors of the body-self as a site of injury. I concentrate on treating wounds. I am binding wounded chairs in a freeze mode and in this piece, it is shown hanging, stuck in the moment, just like in post trauma.
